Background
In 2016 a group of 19 students in the final year of their Masters of Architecture from the University of New South Wales focused on the challenges facing St Canice’s Parish. The studio considered the wider issues facing the church and explored the role that the built environment might play in a time of rapid urban change.
As part of the parish renewal, St Canice’s is developing a master plan for the development of the site. The exhibition is now a backdrop to our ongoing discussions to agree a future direction for our common home.
