Education affords people of a rural upbringing an ability to shape the direction of their own lives, their families and the communities in which they live, and even their nation.

St Canice’s Kitchen – Beacon of Light in lockdown

Over the past 18 months, despite the lockdowns, the Kitchen has been a beacon of light for the street community. They have remained open, delivering not only meals but growing their services to include; legal and healthcare clinics, a COVID vaccination hub, an extensive library and probably most importantly an array of mental health services.
